Paranormal Activity Online Review

Paranormal Activity is a movie about ghosts- but its really got a more modern feel to it. I dont know, maybe after seeing so many of those “Haunted House” Television shows, and there Infra-Red cameras and crazy sounding audio technology- I cant help but see the resemblance in “Paranormal Activity”.

Although I actually do LOVE the fact that this movie has that “realness” to it, that makes you forget that its a movie. With 2 virtually unknown actors -(Katie Fetherston and Micah Sloat)- it could definitely pass as some sort of ultra-hyper reality ghost T.V.

O.K.- here is the basics. The story line is about a young couple out in Cali. One, the guy named Micah, swears that he has been haunted by as ghost or ghosts since childhood. And of course, Katie’s not buying nay of that…

Until they move into the house in San Diego.

And after a few nights and a slowly building  crescendo of loud noises and strange happenings -Katie decides to buy into Micahs haunting story. They try to use one of those paranormal ‘experts’. And when he says there is nothing he can do- (go figure, everytime I watch the TV Shows, they never find *hit- this guy finally gets his chance and bails?).

After the 2nd rate Paranormal Dude takes his cue stage left- its up to Katie and Micah to take care business – thats when the Ouiga Board makes its grand entrance- And this TOTALLY Pisses Off The house- or the ghosts , which ever it is- I dotn want to give too much away.

Anyways -thats when the fun REALLY gets going.

Overall, its great for those that love these types of ghost and paranormal movies. The effects really work – and I give the actors credit for keeping things interesting without bad scared faces and fake screaming.
